Welcome to the site of choir Srbadija! This choir was founded firstly in 1896. and it represented national music and many famous national compsers like Mokranjac and Kornelije Stankovic. When the II Word War, this choir was finished. When profesor Desanka Trakilovic came to Bijeljina in 1992., she founded again this choir. In the first few months, choir had about 40 members. There were mixed choir, and the children choir. Today, the ,,Srbadija'' is very famous choir in the Yugoslavia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The music of choir Srbadija is based on religion mostly, nut has a lot of compositions of national and world wide composers. One of the most important event for our choir is participation in the Choir Olympics in Linz, Austria. There, we won one silver and one bronze medail. Our next bigger event will be a participation in Orlando di Lasso festival in Vatican in march, 2001. The conductor of choir is professor Desanka Trakilovic.
